Payroll Setup
- Connect client with a payroll company if necessary
- Act as a liaison with the payroll company to assure that the most efficient and effective payroll system is implemented for the client.
- Work with selected payroll company to insure all employee data is transferred accurately into the payroll system
Process payroll
- Submit all hours provided by the client to the payroll company if necessary.
- Input or submit all necessary payroll changes to the payroll company as needed including:
- Rate changes
- Earned time changes
- Benefit deduction changes (submitted by HR Consultant)
- Submit employee 401k contributions to appropriate agency in accordance with clients required schedule.
- Submit employee Flex spending contributions to appropriate agency in accordance with the clients required payment schedule.
- Submit employee HSA contributions to appropriate agency in accordance with the clients required payment schedule
- Record General Journal in QuickBooks to book payroll expenses and liabilities each payroll
